Day 70 and 71 (I think!!)

As a challenge to paint more successfully on a smaller scale, last year I undertook a project to create 100 paintings in 100 days. The process was a revelation and I realized I miss the daily deadline, it seems to really intensify and focus my creative drive! Another benefit is that is allows me to experiment with new media, dip in to other subject matter and create small artworks that I can offer at very affordable prices.

So, here I go again ....almost daily...in to this New Year!!!

Continuing in yesterday's frazzled brain mode I seem to have got my days in a mix. So, just to catch up with myself here is a double Affordable Art Affair offering!

About my Affordable Art Artworks

My subject matter will be mainly equestrian, with some figurative, still life and landscape included.

Sizes will vary, I will post full details with each image.

Conditions of purchase from The Affordable Art Gallery

Please understand colours may vary slightly between the actual painting and the image on your screen
due to my digital camera's results and your monitor.

Box canvases can be displayed framed or unframed. Canvas panels will need framing , in paintings where I have worked right up to the edge of the canvas I recommend 'float' framing so the edges remain uncovered by the frame. Works on paper will require mounting, glazing and framing, the image size is the mount board aperture size I suggest for the image.

Works are sold on a first come first served basis, as I am not always able to immediately update the sales status occasionally paintings become twice sold, in which case I will immediately refund the payment. I make every effort to avoid such occasions.

Money Back

If the painting is returned within 30 days of the buyer receiving it, Sally Martin will return money paid minus fees (PayPal /Credit card) and shipping.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs

Day 68

Graphite sketch on watercolour paper approx 8X6 inches £40 mounted ready for framing

My brain is a bit frazzled, not much sense to be had this evening !!

A full day at the easel working on 5 commissions, then worked on one of my own small paintings which went well and one large painting which I managed to 'mess up' !! Some times this situation can be redeemed and sometimes it is better to cut the canvas up and stretch a new one. Oh well some you win some you lose!
